Abstract

The concept of Management Information Systems (MIS) has evolved over time, and managers
increasingly feel the importance of managing information as a virtual resource in organizations. This
information is as important as other physical resources available. In general, SIM aims to achieve
conditions so that the organization can operate efficiently, so that the organization can operate effectively,
so that the organization can provide better services / services, and so that the organization can improve
creation / improvisation of the products produced. A good SIM will be able to increase market share of
the products produced. SIM will result in a client lock in/competitor locks out, which is a consumer's
dependence on services provided by certain organizations and reluctant to move to another place. This
goal will be achieved if the SIM developed is able to provide support to all levels of management and all
existing organizational functions. The use of information technology and data communication in CBIS is
a determining factor for achieving an ideal SIM.
